millay Freschi/Amy Cross
millay Freschi is a leader, volunteer, and entrepreneur. She is the founder of the Four Bridges Project in Second Life and has managed and coordinated a variety of non-profit activities. Amy is currently a student at the University of Maine in a Peace Studies program, and has 15 years of business experience in Commerical Insurance and Risk Management.
Amy is also certified in Transformative Mediation.
Siri Vita
Siri Vita came into Second Life in September 2007 and shortly thereafter found herself planning the first and one of the largest peace festivals on the grid, SL PeaceFest 08, along with fellow Peace Train engineers Cotton Thorne and Tonks Akina. Utilizing RL skills aquired in broadcast production and project management, she began aquiring the inworld skills and connections necessary to pull together a festival that has become known as SL's own Woodstock. The Peace Train organizers became the Peace Train charitable trust in order to continue utilizing the global outreach platform of SL to raise awareness and promote organizations operating in remote corners of the world that were doing work in human rights and peace initiatives. Siri is currently a sitting board member.
After the 1st Peace Fest the Peace Train group continued bringing representatives from RL orgs inworld for a speaker series and coordinated with other inworld groups to work on events like the Human Rights Festival and Imagine Fest. Siri started the Sea of Green group inworld organizing rallies and distributing information on the Iran protests. She also brought Organizing for America inworld hosting discussion groups on health care and the economy. As her inworld work spread across the many groups affiliated with Four Bridges the progression to inworld coordinator for the Four Bridges sims and the member orgs was a natural move.
After wrapping up SL's second Peace Fest in August, she took on the task of building out the two sims of Four Bridges with the help of Gamma Infinity and Stryker Jenkins. Today, you can find her on Four Bridges landscaping a parcel, helping a member org set up displays or attending a meeting planning one of the many upcoming festivals scheduled on the grid.
